Gmail’s advanced search feature is extremely powerful. I usually use this for for searching for emails from recipients or with certain labels. Today, Gmail rolled out a new feature on searching through your emails.

I upgraded my old (though still robust) Dell Inspiron 15 to Windows 8 over the weekend. I’ve struggled quite a bit since then to get it up and running and finally ended up resetting my computer. It has been stable since then and the operating system is definitely faster than Vista and Windows 7.
Composing emails in a desktop client like Thunderbird or Postbox allows you switch back and forth between windows easily. Look up your other emails for reference or just let the Compose window sit in the background while you check new mail. By contrast most web-based clients don’t give you this flexibility and Gmail hopes to remedy that with the new compose feature.

Opera has always been one of my favourite browers. It’s fast and they have steady update to valuations. It still needs to go a long way to get close to Chrome or Firefox in terms of add-on support, but it’s a good alternate browser, if you need one.

Google announced the release of their official tag managing tool. Titled Google Tag Manager, the tool lets you manage tags (such as tracking and marketing optimization tags) on your site.
