Microsoft has confirmed three new map packs for Xbox 360. This update includes downloadable content packs for Halo 3, Gears of War 2 and Left 4 Dead . The first official release is all set for March 31 and it will be the “SnowBlind” map pack for Greats of War 2.

Service Pack 2 Release Candidate for Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 are now available for download to TechNet and MSDN subscribers to test prior to final release. SP2 for Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 include updates that have been delivered since the release of SP1, as well as support for new types of hardware and emerging standards. SP2 weighs in at a sizable 302MB for x86 systems and 508MB for 64-bit operating system versions of Windows Vista.
Microsoft has just announced a line up of educational content creators which are collaborating to build products with Semblio. Semblio is a software platform by Microsoft that is geared towards developing better educational content. For now, this software is only available as an SDK for developers but we’re expected to see a version for teacher which will allow them to easily assemble important lectures as in text, audio and video and turn them into interactive lessons.
