While you still can’t edit your templates here at WordPress.com the WP.com FAQ suggests a good method to add images to the sidebar using the Link Manager.
I had written a while back about Web 2.0. As with anything new a debate rages on as to how good or bad or effective is the term Web 2.
This FAQ states that in the near future you may use your very own domain with your WordPress.com blog. This will come as a nominal yearly cost.

The last two days have seen long page loads along with temporary downtime at WordPress.com Well things seem to be back on track now. Though I do have a feeling that an older backup was used, because I seem to have lost a comment on my post below.
Have been using WordPress for over two years now and Blogger for a year. Had always hosted WordPress as my personal blog while chose to start using Blogger just as a test. We now have WordPress.
