If you’re a designer, finding good quality icons does require a good amount of searching. So, here is a free icon set in PSD format courtesy the great folks at PixelKit. A clean interface offers quite a few benefits.
If you take a look at the top right of this site, you’ll notice a set of new icons that will give you quick access to our presence on the web. The six icons above are part of the Social Media Icon Set 1. The set contains PNG icons for 28 of the popular social media and other sites and are available in 16×16, 24×24, 32×32, 48×48 and 64×64 sizes.
Matthias Kretschmann has developed a template for designing your own icons for the admin area of WordPress. This is very useful for plugin and theme developers looking to add new icons to their new menus. Icons are also used when you have custom post types on your blog.
