PC World reports that staffers at Google accidentally sent out e-mail containing a mass mailing worm to about 50,000 members of an e-mail discussion list focused on its Google Video Blog.
The worm called W32/Kapser.A@mm is better known as the Kama Sutra worm.
Google says that protocols are now in place to ensure that this doesn’t repeat.
The worm is blocked by antivirus software, so I don’t think any person who has an antivirus running would have faced a problem with the worm.
However, worth noting is that users would generally trust files being sent by the Google Team. Anything new and unknown can have much worse consequences!
