iPhone and iPad users have enjoyed Siri for a long time. It’s a good alternative to typing out those boring phrases and also be good fun if you’re bored and just want to chat to your phone. Android and Windows users haven’t enjoyed a feature as good as this.
The Skype team today released a preview of the Skype for Windows Phone 8 app. Available for download in the Windows store. In this Preview, you’ll get all of the Skype basics in the new, modern design along with many of the new features such as integration with the People Hub and a combined contact list with buddies from Windows Live Messenger.
Facebook released the latest version of their app for Windows Phones. This new version brings in a lot of new features to the existing app and is available for all users mobile users running Windows Phone 7.5.
A new treat is in store for Nokia Lumia owners as the company releases a video streaming app. Nokia has just released a beta app that is designed for streaming video content from a Lumia device to a TV. Users can download the beta Play To app that will work with a Nokia Lumia 710 or 800 and link it with any device that is DLNA which means the Digital Living Network Alliance, so a TV, Blu-Ray player or a laptop.
