Game for the weekend: Prince of Persia Classic
Prince of Persia was pretty much the first game I played on a computer. I remember attempting to cross the levels in 60 minutes on an old Windows 3.1 machine and failing.

As part of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Kabam in association with WB created The Hobbit: Kingdoms. I’m not normally one for playing a strategy game but my attraction for all things LOTR drove me to trying the game out. It’s been nearly a year, but I haven’t stopped!

The highly popular and addictive Bejeweled Blitz has been released for Android devices. Bejeweled Blitz was originally a Facebook application which is developed and published by PopCap Games, a subsidiary of Electronic Arts. Wreck-It Ralph is a cool new animated movie that tells the story of a video game villain who wants to be a hero and sets out to fulfill his dream. But his quest brings havoc to the whole arcade where he lives. If you’ve watched the movie, you’ll note three key games that are highlighted throughout the movie.
If you remember the old Atari consoles of the 20th century, you might remember Pitfall! which became the second best selling video game for Atari 2600. [Image credit: Wikipedia] To celebrate the 30th anniversary of its release, Activision released a re-envisioned version of the game for iOS a few months back.
If you haven’t checked it out yet, Talking Ginger is one of the most popular apps on iTunes currently. It’s late and little Ginger is getting ready for bed. He needs to shower and dry, brush his teeth and go potty.
