Occasionally on Techtites, we feature some really cool games that let you spend (read waste) your weekend. It’s Monday today and usually the first thing on your mind is beginning a long week at work. But, as your mind gets filled with all things work, I’m sure it would love to have a few moments of play.

Game for the weekend: Wreck-it Ralph

Wreck-It Ralph is a cool new animated movie that tells the story of a video game villain who wants to be a hero and sets out to fulfill his dream. But his quest brings havoc to the whole arcade where he lives. If you’ve watched the movie, you’ll note three key games that are highlighted throughout the movie.

If you remember the old Atari consoles of the 20th century, you might remember Pitfall! which became the second best selling video game for Atari 2600. Have some fun while saving the bees with Beebble!

SeventhSide Games recently launched its first game “Beebble”, a city builder (a virtual town simulator) geolocalised at a junction between Farmville, Sim City and Foursquare, offering players the possibility to allow their virtual environment to interact with their real world location. The game’s story was inspired by one of Albert Einstein’s theory, stating that the survival of humanity rests on the bees’ destiny: “If bees disappear from the planet, Man will only have four years to live.” To save humanity the Professor Beebblestein, a crazy scientist, created a new genetically modified species of bees names the Beebbles, capable of communicating with humans.
