StartW8 brings back the start menu in Windows 8
I love Windows 8. Even though Microsoft took away the start menu in Windows 8, I have never felt it missing because, I simply hit the windows key and type the name of the app I am searching for. This is something that I did with Windows 7 as well. However, the missing start menu has made several users uncomfortable and #1 request has been to get back the start menu.
The Windows blog has the new features of Windows 8.1 and it seems like Windows 8.1 will bring back the start button. However, if you can’t wait for the release of Windows 8.1, then check out StartW8.
StartW8 allows users to access their apps and folders with greater ease as it adds a fully-functional Start Menu to their Windows 8 computer/notebook. Users can also easily search a specific file or program by entering a relevant keyword, or they can simply shut down their PC, reboot or switch users.
