I’ve been running Wibiya on Techtites and a few other blogs for a long time. The Wibiya toolbar allows users to share your posts quickly and easily on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, via email, etc. Wibiya tracks statistics and gives you a decent idea of how successful this is.
Unfortunately, Wibiya (not Conduit) will be shutting shop at the end of this year. Here are the three best alternatives that you might want to install on your WordPress blog to replace Wibiya.
Shareholic
Shareholic is a very power plugin. It adds an attractive social bookmarking menu and related content widget to your posts, pages, index, or any combination of the three.
The best feature that I love is the array of buttons with a tonne of social networks and social bookmarks that definitely help share your posts!
Jetpack is a lot more than just a tool to add some sharing buttons. The Sharing module allows you to drag and drop sharing services into the enabled section to have them show up on your site, and drag them into the hidden section to have them hidden behind a button.
Floating Social Bar is an awesome social media plugin for WordPress that adds a floating share bar to your content. The default option is to keep it floating, so when a user scrolls down your page the bar remains in sight tempting them to share your post!

Letter to publishers from Wibiya
Dear publishers,
After five incredible years together, Wibiya will be discontinuing our service at the end of this year.
On a personal note, we would like to share our perspective on Wibiya, where we have been and where we are going.
In 2008, Wibiya was founded with the vision of helping users better engage with and around content websites. Driven by the ferocious growth of social media, we saw incredible success. In 2011, we joined Conduit, a leading provider of engagement solutions. With the added resources at Conduit, we introduced the Wibiya app marketplace, the Wibiya targeting platform and Wibiya VIP for larger publishers.
Joining a larger company is never easy and we learned a number of invaluable lessons along the way. We learned the importance of teamwork and a strong relationship with corporate leadership. We learned to leverage the innovations Conduit was creating, while adding our own unique voice, skills and capabilities to the Conduit team. Wibiya’s team and technology are powering innovation across many Conduit products and has created a significant impact across the company.
With Conduit’s new direction and organizational changes, the Wibiya platform is no longer in alignment with the future strategy. Over the coming months, most of the Wibiya team and innovations will be integrated throughout Conduit, bringing our expertise and experience to existing and yet-to-be released products.
In appreciation of your loyalty, Conduit will be offering all Wibiya publishers three free months of Conduit Mobile. Conduit Mobile is a dynamic platform that allows anyone to easily create a mobile app or mobile site. Wibiya publishers will receive an email with additional information in a few weeks.
