Increase your battery’s life with BatteryCare

BatteryCare is designed to optimize the performance and usage of  modern laptop batteries, it uses a complex algorithm that actually monitors your battery’s discharge cycles. In other words the software accurately records your battery’s overall performance and recommends that you fully discharge your laptops batteries once after every 20-30 recharges.

By doing so you not only increase your battery’s life span but also increase its `immunity’ to wear and tear. However just recording wear and tear is not the only thing the software does, BatteryCare will also notify of when its time to fully discharge you laptop battery.

Even if you have a laptop that does not support showing overall battery time left (eg. the older IBM ThinkPads that only show the charge percentage left per charge and not overall battery life time) BatteryCare is smart enough to calculate the approximate remaining time needed before a discharge needs to take place.

Add to that the fact that you have access to complete battery details ranging from  commplete information about the battery, such as wear level, capacities, consumption, manufacturer, etc. Also when in battery mode the notification icon automatically shows the remaining time and percentage of battery left

The features don’t stop there though:

  • Automatic power plan switching according to whichever power source is being used at the time.
  • Automatic disabling of  graphics accelerated themes in Windows Vista and/or demanding services that degrade battery lifetime. Its even smart enough to know when to re-enable the theme and the more power hungry processes once power from the mains have been restored
  • Auto-updates no need to download and reinstall the software over and over
  • Lightweight system requirements regardless of its powerful processes BatteryCare doesnt take more than  0,1% of Processor and Memory resources.
