One thing that all of us depend on in Firefox is the ability to install extensions that make the browser more userfriendly.
After careful choosing, I tried to restrict the number of addons I use to sixteen. If I uninstall Firefox, or if I have to install it on another computer, my job begins fresh of reinstalling all these addons.
Beside the addons, I also have a lot of settings and tweaks applied to Firefox, some of which I don’t even remember now!
Hence, the requirement for a tool to backup my Firefox settings for quick reuse.
FEBE (Firefox Environment Backup Extension) allows you to quickly and easily backup your Firefox extensions. In fact, it goes beyond just backing up. It will actually rebuild your extensions individually into installable .xpi files. Now you can easily synchronize your office and home browsers.
FEBE backs up and restores your extensions, themes, and (optionally) your bookmarks, preferences, cookies. and much more.
Backups can be scheduled and sequential backups can be stored in timestamped directories so you can restore back as far as you like.
