Game for the weekend: Angry Birds Epic

It’s highly possible that you would have played a version of Angry Birds either on your phone, tablet or computer. Breaking away from the usual series of flinging the birds at the cages, Angry Birds Epic put you through a role playing adventure where you command your flock of birds and send them to battle those vicious and evil pigs!

Available for iOS, Android and Windows Phone, The storyline begins with you, playing as Red, trying to recover the stolen eggs by the Pigs in the fantasy Piggy Island.

The idea behind the game is very simple. The game is turn-based where you can select up to three birds to battle against one or more pigs. You can craft and then select amazing battle-winning weapons like a wooden sword, frying pan or stick thingy with a sponge on top! Level up your characters, armor, weapons and potions to become a legendary hero ready to take on the mightiest pig warrior!

Angry Birds Epic gives you an interactive and fun gameplay, with sufficient levels to keep you busy over not just this weekend but several days or weeks. Although easy to play, the game does have its twist because you need to plan the order to attack the pigs as well as what powerup you’re going to use to make that attack effective.
