I had written about Hotmail’s plan to increase the inbox size to 1Gb. This has finally been completed and you should now have a 1Gb inbox.
This doesn’t effect users who are using Windows Live Beta (like me) or those who managed to get their @live address because of the security hole last week.

Cybernet News got a short tutorial on getting your Windows @Live.com email address.
Microsoft will release the same in due course I am sure, but this is the best way to get the email address of your choice!
You will need to use Internet Explorer because the javascript code doesn’t seem to work in Firefox.

Windows Live Mail has now been launched in the Netherlands.
This can be accessed at mail.live.nl.
This means that existing Hotmail users in the Netherlands can migrate their existing accounts to Windows Live.
Alternatively, they can create new @live.nl accounts.
I wonder when they will come to India?

Microsoft has taken one more step towards migrating all its users to Windows Live Mail.
Inboxes of Hotmail users will now be upgraded to 1GB of space. This will be done irrespective of the market and account age, i.e. factors that used to be considered earlier while upgrading accounts.
Currently Hotmail offers 250MB only in the 50 [...]
