Sony finds defect in Cyber-shot digital cameras
Reuters reports that Sony has found that Cyber-shot compact digital cameras might not work in warm and humid areas. It has stated that these would be repaired free of charge. The LCDs in these cameras may not show images correctly or the cameras may not be able to take photos at all. An estimated 4000 cameras are believed to be affected from the 1 million models sold world wide. Sony just faced a quarterly loss after Dell recalled 9.6 million Sony-made lithium-ion batteries!
