Online Alarm Clock (Fun Friday)

Honestly, I wouldn’t know why you would do this, just perhaps for the sake of doing it, but, Kuku Klok gives you an online alarm clock. You can set the time you need the alarm to go. And, you even have a choice of four different sounds that you would like to listen to. The best part is that once loaded, the online alarm clock will work even if Internet connection goes down. However, it does mean that you will need to keep your browser window open. Now, only for a software that does this job

Forumwarz (Fun Friday)

While, I’d love to write an entire article for this, it would simply spoil the fun. From the site: Forumwarz is a parody role-playing game that takes place on the Internet. In fact, Forumwarz is the Internet…in game form. Magical dragon-faeries? Flaxen-hair’d elflords? Dank scary dungeons, reminiscent of Grandpa’s basement? Kids’ stuff. In Forumwarz, you can pwn trolls in ridiculous web forums…buy hacked warez from shady Russian websites…or upgrade your skills with breast implants, malt liquor and antidepressants. Start playing now

It’s a Wonderful Internet (Fun Friday)

I remember nearly ten years ago me venturing into a tiny cyber cafe in an attempt to understand what the Internet was all about, what email is and what did people mean when they said chat online. Those days, to use the internet cost a bomb with horrible dialup speeds. Well, the internet today still costs a bomb but the speeds have gotten significantly better! The Internet has become a rather important part of my life for sure. What about you? Stumbled across It’s a Wonderful Internet today which tells the story of a young man named George who on…

Fun Friday: Rotate

Don’t we all love games. But, nothing stimulates the mind more than a game that needs you to rack your brains. That is what Rotate and its successor Rotate2 hope to establish. Rotate uses photos from Flickr and jumbles them up. You need to rotate the individual pieces and place them the right side up to complete the picture, all the while as a timer ticks down. Rotate2 is similar, but instead of images it uses pipes. You need to rotate the various parts of the pipe and close all open ends of the pipe. You progress on to the…
