Get your Windows 7 Beta Genuine Activation Keys

Windows 7 Beta was released two days and Microsoft’s servers went for a toss. The problems have now been fixed and you can now download the ISO directly from Microsoft servers. You can even pick it up using Bittorrent or other Torrent software. However, to use Windows 7 Beta, you need to register at Microsoft to receive a serial key. Without the key, Windows 7 will expire in 30 days. Of course, with the key it expires on August 1, 2009. So, please do not consider this as your free lifetime copy of Windows 7. Run it to test it…

Make your XP/Vista Windows move like in Windows 7

Windows 7 has come out an amazing new method of handling windows. Windows XP and Vista are without this features. The feature that I am talking about is the ability to drag windows to snap them along the sides of your screen. AeroSnap is a simple but powerful application that allows you to resize, arrange or maximize your desktop windows with just drag’n’drop. Windows Live Writer Beta (Software Saturday)

Last week Microsoft released Windows Live Writer Beta. The release includes added support for video. You can now insert videos from Soapbox and YouTube, as well as upload to them. There is a new skin and several more feature enhancements for images, better features to author blogs. You can spell check in several more languages. For me, English is the only language, so not much benefit for me there! One of the best features I like is the ability to add categories directly to my WordPress blog with search and type-down filtering. Give it a shot, if you haven’t already….

Opera 9.1 Weekly Update

Opera has released the latest weekly update to their popular browser. There are two main changes this time are an update to the Wand format and fixes to the fraud protection. Wand is Opera’s method of storing passwords. The passwords are stored in a wand.dat file. This update changes the format, so if you are upgrading remember to keep a backup. The other update is improvement in the fraud protection to prevent RCSR. Earlier this week it was reported that IE and Firefox are vulnerable to this. Opera is not vulnerable, but with this update the protection has been improved…
