Napster to power AOL Music

In the age of mergers and acquisitions, an unlike partnership has taken place. Napster has teamed up with AOL and will now power the music service AOL Music. The music service has been in operation since 2005 after AOL’s acquistion of MusicNow. The estimated timeframe in which all subscribers will be shifted over to Napster is said to be 60 days. Napster has been known for its cyber-piracy and after a major lawsuit, turned legal with its subscription service. AIM 6.0 – Astonishingly Beautiful
