PlayStation 3 released in the US

After 86,400 units in two days, Sony has released the PlayStation 3 in the US as scheduled.

What I am really surprised about is the lengths that people have gone through just to buy a PS3.

Reuters reports that some gamers waited for more than two days outside Sony’s Manhattan store.

Seems like the bad year for Sony is finally looking up. Faced with delays, manufacturing problems, stock shortage and games incompatibility, the PS3 has overcome them all to become one of the most favorite consoles on the market.

Now, we just need to see how Nintendo succeeds with WII, scheduled to be launched on Sunday.
