Opera renews Search Deal with Google
Opera was the first browser to include a search bar in its browser as well as the first to have a deal with Google

Opera Watch reports that Opera has renewed its search deal with Google.
Opera will get a share of the advertising revenue from Google search results when a user searches within Opera using the search box or via the address bar.
This is indeed good for Opera, because ever since they turned free this will be a good source of revenue.
I’ve been using Opera for a good number of years now (right when we had the big Google Ads). Was extremely pleased when they released a free serial promotion offer. Ofcourse, that was immediately followed by the new release without any ads.
And in my opinion while every squabbles over Firefox and IE, most forget the Opera is the fastest browser without doubts available today
