Office Live now Live

Microsoft Office Live

Even before the release of Office 2007, Microsoft has released Office Live

Microsoft Office Live services allow you to create a professional online presence without the expense of buying a server, setting up a complicated infrastructure, and hiring technical staff to maintain it. Microsoft Office Live is a hosted service – all you need is a computer and an Internet connection.

Besides the free program MS offers a $19.95/mo Essentials and a $39.95/mo Premium program.

The Free program should be ideal for small sites/companies. You get 25 accounts of 2GB, 500MB website with 10GB bandwidth.

What is really cool is that you get a free domain with all the three services. The only clause is that if you discontinue the service then you have to pay for the domain.

Office Live is currently available in the following languages and countries/regions: English (U.S., U.K.); French (France); German (Germany); and Japanese (Japan).

SignUp for the Basic Program or for a free trial of the paid programs.
