Amazon adds Send to Kindle button

Send to Kindle

Ever since I bought a Kindle around a year back, I’ve rediscovered my love for books. The various apps available for desktop and mobile make reading a breeze. However, I am yet to use the Kindle to browser websites, because the browser is just not built for this.

In what looks like an attempt to tap this user base, Amazon has now added the Send to Kindle option to its arsenal.

The Send to Kindle Button lets you easily send that content to your Kindle to read later, at your convenience. Just send once and read everywhere on any of your Kindle devices or free Kindle reading apps for iPhone, iPad and Android phones or tablets.

Just visit the Send to Kindle page and choose your options. If you’re a website developer and want to add the Send to Kindle Button, you can get it for free at www.amazon.com/gp/sendtokindle/developers/button. WordPress users can download the WordPress plugin that lets you integrate this in your blog.

I am sure other WordPress plugins will also soon add support for this. We use JetPack here on Techtites and I’m hoping they add this button as well.

Have you added the button yet?
