offers us the feature to clear out our cache each time we exit Firefox.
By setting our options in this manner we need to exit Firefox each time we want to clear out our cache. An alternative method is longer and requires accessing our options, choosing which attributes we want cleared, and then clearing them.
But thanks to third-party developers who scrutinize such issues, pay special attention to them, and work out their solutions mostly in the form of Firefox add-ons.
The solution to the cache problem comes from a developer named vmslo in the form of a Firefox add-on titled Empty Cache Button.
Empty Cache Button is a tiny Firefox add-on that lets us empty our entire Firefox cache without the need to exit Firefox and without interrupting our browsing i.e. we do not even steer way from our currently opened webpage.
After installing the add-on, right-click on the topmost Firefox toolbar and click on customize.
The resultant window will have some buttons. The last button will be of Empty Cache Button.
Drag the last button to anywhere in the Firefox toolbars.
Now whenever you click on this icon, all your Firefox cache will be cleared and you will receive a confirmation message in the bottom right of your screen.
Empty Cache Button is a great tool to have to immediately wipe out our browsing history from Firefox’s records; until Firefox incorporates such a convenient cache-clearing solution in itself, this add-on is must-have for all Firefox users.
