Facebook streamlines homepage. More like Twitter?

Facebook is currently revamping its homepage to make users stick around more. The homepage change involves a major rearranging of elements of the existing homepage.

The tabs have been moved to the right and you can create as many filters as you want. This is a better positioning that the current one on top where you run out of real estate.

The stream of posts will be updated in real time, so no repeated refreshing hopefully. The Publisher will allow you to make updates to your profile, status etc. quickly without having to navigate to any other page.

And, the highlights tab is for events and stories that Facebook wants you to view ;)
