WordPress Plugin Review: Feed Pauser
Have you made a quick post, hurriedly hit the publish button and then suddenly realize you have a few glaring mistakes in it. So, what's the big deal? Simply edit the post and everything is back to normal.
Well, it is a big deal when your blog is highly popular and you have a huge number of readers subscribed to your feed.
Enter Feed Pauser. Feed Pauser, pauses a post from being made available through RSS.
Below is a video explaining how to setup Feed Pauser on your blog.
Whenever you publish a new post, Feed Pauser captures the publish and puts the feed on pause, i.e. prevents the post from appearing in the feed. Once the pause time gets over, the post appears in the feed.
I've got the plugin running on this blog, because I have an habit of making future posts and several times forgot to change the date and time. Editing the posts caused a good number of 404 errors. Now, with Feed Pauser I don't have to worry about it, atleast if I make the edit within 10 minutes of publishing
Are you using Feed Pauser on your blog? What time interval have you set it to?
