Microsoft has finally gone ahead and released Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1. This release is aimed at Web Developers and Testers to understand what Microsoft has in store.
Considering that the browser is still so fresh, an emulate Internet Explorer 7 button has been put in to browse the web similar to using Internet Explorer 7.
Five new features have been introduced / enhanced in IE8. Activities, WebSlices, Favorites Bar, Automatic Crash Recovery and an improved Phishing Filter. Domain Highlighting has also been introduced, where the top level domain in the address bar is highlighted to ensure that users can easily check the site they are browsing.
