The 2.2 release which was scheduled for April 23 was pushed back and there is still no exact date for it.
However, work for the same has been going on furiously and even 2.3 is in the pipeline.
Ryan has mentioned that the 2.2 RC1 is available for download and testing.
However, all support is exclusively via the Testers List. If you are running a production site, I suggest waiting for the final version until all the bugs are ironed out.
However, if you’re the experimenting types, then go ahead and grab it.
