Yahoo! Messenger comes bundled with several ads in the main messenger window, the chat window and the webcam window.
Google Operating System Blog has provided a .bat file that removes these ads.
Make sure that Yahoo! Messenger is not running. Download the .bat file and execute it.

  • DoubleClick sells for $3.1 billion

    Google Ars Technica reports that Google will be buying DoubleClick for $3.1 billion. This makes it Google’s biggest acquisition and is also an excellent way of thwarting the competition that DoubleClick presented to Google’s Adwords program.
