Techtites Daily: Service Saturday

I’ve been meaning to run a poll on my blogs. I didn’t want to try a WordPress plugin so that I could avoid cluttering the database. While looking for an online service, I came across PollDaddy.

Here is the sample poll I have created. Do take it. Are you subscribed to our feed?

PollDaddy comes with good features. First ofcourse is the price, it is FREE.
Secondly, it works perfectly with Typepad, WordPress, Blogger, mySpace and Hi5. Well, actually it works with just about any site!
Thirdly, you can deliver your poll through JavaScript, flash, direct link, widget or RSS. Hence, it makes it really easy for you to deploy this to all visitors even with different platforms.

Making the poll is also easy. A neat AJAX interface lets you add the questions and the question type. You can then select a template or create your own and you’re all set to publish it.

I’ve embedded a poll in the sidebar of ajaydsouza.com using a Widget. Now, I can change the poll or put new polls without having to update the code on my site.

Do take my poll above. Are you using PollDaddy on you’re blog or site? What is your feedback on the same?
