Quick on the heels of the latest release of Firefox, Flock, which is based on Mozilla core has released version 0.7.9.1.
The main update is Mozilla’s 1.5.0.9 patch for FireFox, which is a critical update as it fixed several security holes.
- Support for Blogger Beta
- A stability upgrade in Flock’s indexing code
- A fix for displaying Flickr’s favicon
- Fix small picture DnD feature of photo bar
- A fix for better cleanup of the image cache
Detailed Release Notes are available here along with Known Bugs.
Flock is quite a decent browser, though I am not sure why it is still using 1.5.0.9 code of Firefox. One thing for sure is that it definitely loads faster than Firefox!
