Techtites Daily: Money Making Monday

If there is one program every website owner turns to then it is Google Adsense.

Google Adsense

Right from the Google Adsense site:

Google AdSense is a fast and easy way for website publishers of all sizes to display relevant Google ads on their website’s content pages and earn money. Because the ads are related to what your visitors are looking for on your site - or matched to the characteristics and interests of the visitors your content attracts - you’ll finally have a way to both monetize and enhance your content pages.

It’s also a way for website publishers to provide Google web and site search to their visitors, and to earn money by displaying Google ads on the search results pages.

I’ve been a publisher with Adsense for over two years now and you will see adsense on almost every personal site that I run.

It has been a constant source of revenue that has ensured that I break even :)

You can earn money in the Adsense program in three ways.

The first is by displaying ads on your site. The ads that are displayed are contextual, i.e. they are related to the content on your page.

The second way to earn money is via Adsense for Search. You place a search box from Google on your site and monetize the results. You even have the option of embedding the results completely into your page so that it ensures that visitors never leave your page.

The third way to earn money is via referrals. Refer other users to adsense, firefox and other software and get paid for that.

There are several other methods to generate revenue for your websites. Check this space for more reviews.
