Flickr Upgrades its accounts
While Zooomr gifted its users on Halloween, Flickr is doing the same in time for Christmas.
The limits on Free accounts has been increased from 20MB to 100MB, while Pro accounts now have Unlimited Uploading.
Even with these new features Flickr still faces competition from Zooomr which has already been offering the same with better features as Thomas Hawk states.
However, this will definitely be very beneficial to a lot of users out there of both the pro and the free accounts who actively use Flickr.
Also introduced is a Gift a Pro system where you can now easily gift a pro account to your friends.

The upgrade is totally useless for free users since they still only let you have 200 photos.
Agreed on that one. That's one of the reasons I don't Flickr
