I’ve stayed away from YouTube for a long time and just signed up today.
YouTube has added a new feature viz. Quick Capture.
Quick Capture allows you to record a YouTube video instantly. Simply fill out the form and then start recording. Make sure your webcam is installed and working correctly and you have Flash Player installed. A microphone will help you capture sound as well.
Didn’t want to make a video just yet, but above shows you what it looks like (have distorted the image intentionally).
In a bid to enable everyone to share videos, this is definitely a great tool added to its arsenal.

Yup, Its indeed a great addition. It will enable everybody to quickly share their expressions, but their bandwidth needs are surely gonna expand

YouTube or the users? I don’t think the amount of bandwidth that will be used would be that different from if you were normally uploading a video.
