Free Google Checkout Transactions till Dec 2007
For Google, the holiday season never ends (even before it's begun). Google had earlier announced free transactions till Dec 2006.
Today, the Google Checkout Blog today announced new features for Google Checkout. Among these was free processing until Dec 31, 2007!
Besides this, Google Checkout also offers Easy coupon creation and Email invoicing for merchants.
An HTML API has been introduced which makes it easy to use Checkout with simple HTML Forms.
Google Checkout still has a long long way to go before it can even reach near PayPal, which still remains the preferred payment gateway for merchants and users alike.
How well Google Checkout succeeds just remains to be seen. Will the lower transaction fees (free for now) and great schemes make users switch? Will the Google brand name help?
