Fun Friday : Zapak

Let me begin the very first article of Techtites Daily by reviewing a new gaming portal I found lately.

The portal is known as Zapak and it claims to be India's largest portal for free Online Casual, single player & Multiplayer Games.

The site is still in its beta stages so you can expect some ups and downs, especially while signing in.

I signed up recently and will admit that I am really impressed by the quality of the games there. I'm not much of a gamer, but just to pass the time I usually play some game. Having the game online and competing with players from all over is a thrill in itself.

Zapak tries to satisfy every kind of gamer out there. The games are neatly categorized into several categories with a drop down box that lets you directly select the game you want to play.

You also have the option of adding certain games to your favorite list so getting to them is a click away.

Besides the games, Zapak gives you a free email address with 2GB storage space. However, I don't see any options out here to customize. Am not aware if they even have protection against spam and so highly recommend that at this point of time you not use it.

They also have Forums in which you can join the discussion about Zapak and the games found there.

One other thing I found weird about the site is all the pages end with a .z extension. This can falsely trigger your download manager.

Before you get out there, make sure you have Flash Player 9 & Shockwave Player 10 as some games require it.

With the weekend coming up, Zapak can give you enough to do umm… enjoy. Don't blame me if you get addicted!
