I had written about Hotmail’s plan to increase the inbox size to 1Gb. This has finally been completed and you should now have a 1Gb inbox.
This doesn’t effect users who are using Windows Live Beta (like me) or those who managed to get their @live address because of the security hole last week.
Talking about that there was earlier a hint that these would be deleted.
However after the barrage of complaints and threats to leave the service, seems like Microsoft has finally relented and said that the addresses may be kept.
This is good news for everyone who rushed up to signup for the @live. The hole has been closed now so others will just have to wait.
