Files Upload – Another RapidShare Competitor
I don’t know if it is fare to compare every new file hosting service with RapidShare, but since they were among the first in the business and doing pretty well they are usually the benchmark.
However, of late we are seeing services offering better features than RapidShare. I had written recently about MediaFire.
Now we have Files Upload.
It offers:
- Upload limit: Unlimited! Max. 1 Gb per file (and splitted archives allowed!)
- Download limit: Unlimited!
- Our disk space: filling…
- Support for resuming downloads
- Files lifetime up to 6 months after last download
And for their free registration, you even get a subdomain and the ability to upload files via FTP. This is something I have not seen other services offer and it will definitely go a long way to make this service successful.
The service is totally supported by Google Ads.
One thing that I have always observed about similar file sharing services is that they are quickly overrun by illegal downloads. This I believe is a major challenge that they have to face.
It will be interesting to see how Files Upload looks at this.

Take a look at my site, a RapidShare Search Engine:

If anyone needs a premium account you can use this generator here: http://tinyurl.com/cdd5hj
1) Pick the file host (It does around 5 most popular ones)
2) Click generate
3) Click test the account. If it works, great! You have yourself a working 6 months account. If not generate another one.
Easy as that!
