Omnidrive

Omnidrive with 1Gb free storage space is now in private beta.

Omnidrive is a universal web storage platform that is accessible from any platform or application. Omnidrive allows users and developers to easily access and share content and files on the web.

Omnidrive boasts of having three different web clients. All users can use their Web Client. They also have clients for Windows and Mac Operating Systems.

As I mentioned, Omnidrive gives you 1Gb of space, while 10GB will cost $40 a year.

Today though there are a great number of free backup services available. To name a few: XDrive and Mozy (which I have been using regularly).

Omnidrive, like Xdrive interfaces with Windows Explorer and works as a seperate drive, hence supporting all the features that are available for any normal drive.

If you don’t have an Omnidrive account you can request for one.
