Import your Blogger posts

WordPress.com now gives you the option of importing your posts from your blog at Blogger.com

Blogger is a blogging service offered by Google.

I’ve already written a brief comparison of Blogger and WordPress.com and with this added feature it will make it easier for you to move your blogger blog out here.

To do so Click on Import in the Menu bar at the top and then Blogger.

You will come across a small wizard. You start by entering your Blogger login details. On logging in you select the blog from which you want to import the posts.

I selected a test blog I setup. The importer runs really well and after backing up some blogger stuff imported the posts. Here is the post it imported. (I had only one post on the blog).

What I would really like to see is the ability to choose from posts I would like to import giving me the flexibility.

However, I will admit the import was clean and smooth. It even correctly created the permalink for the post based on the name.

This is the easiest way for you to get your Blogger posts if you are moving here from there!
